Christa Budinoff has over 25 years of mechanical engineering experience.
She received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
As a NASA engineer in the 1990’s, Christa conducted structural analysis for LIDAR systems and was the mechanical systems engineer for the SOLSE payload on STS-87. She worked payload integration & contamination control for 7 shuttle missions for the SSBUV program.
In 2000 She left the government and founded Visioneering Corp., where she designed interplanetary instruments and mechanisms for LADEE, MAVEN, ExoMars and the Mars Curiosity rover missions.
Jason Budinoff has over 30 years in aerospace engineering supporting programs at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
He received a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
His experience includes work on several Space Shuttle missions, the Hubble Space Telescope, and the International Space Station.
Recent work includes science instruments for the SOFIA airborne observatory, balloons, and planetary atmosphere sampling.
He has also worked with large solid propulsion systems, 3D printing of cubesat-class telescopes, control electronics and telemetry, and instrument systems engineering for ISS external payloads.
